The device is designed to close automatically within less than one second in the event of a power interruption. It features an automatic reset mechanism that allows re-opening solely by restoring electrical power, also within less than one second. The unit is provided with tappings suitable for connection to a CPI switch, pressure gauge, or proving and interlock systems. It can be electrically interfaced with an alarm system and/or a knock-off switch.
