This is an old St George Thaler not a modern version. This was made into a pendant at some stage and I have left the remains of the holder there to help you get an idea of  the age of this thaler or medal. The coin is sterling silver, the pendant part which is damaged as shown appears to be silverplated copper. This wouold be an early strike as showing so much wear on the holder. The coin is in good condition showing nice patina. This is approximately 2.03cm in diameter and has a total weight of approx'y 3.62 gram.
