Antique mechanical pocket watch / wristwatch, housed in a solid 0.800 silver case. The original pocket watch case is stamped 0.800 silver.  It also says PLAQUE OR ARGENT - therefore it was originally gold plated over silver with plating worn through due to age. Decorative engraved case back. Fitted with fixed wire lugs for wrist wear, typical of early wristwatch conversions. White dial with calligraphic numerals and sub-seconds. An attractive example of an antique pocket watch with period character.

Good antique condition.
Surface wear, scratches, and patina consistent with age. Dial shows age-related marks. Case opens and closes correctly. Wrist watch wire lugs are secure. Movement winds and hands set, however timekeeping accuracy has not been tested over an extended period and servicing may be required. Sold as an antique mechanical watch.
