Original tan textured heavy stock paper wrappers, with black, blue-framed lettering on a label pasted to front covers bound in. A comprehensive, academic study of the traditional ceramic art of the Mexican state of Puebla, specifically "white ware and tile". The work is profusely illustrated throughout with countless mounted color and b/w photographic reproductions of the ceramics. It also contains lithographically printed illustrations in blue and black throughout, detailing the various artists seals/markings on the works. Text in Spanish. Light wear along edges of bindings, spines somewhat sunned. Blocks very lightly age-toned. Very good condition.
