⚙️ XTD Lightweight Flywheel
XTD lightweight flywheels are manufactured using premium, modern materials and advanced production technology. Each flywheel weighs approximately 16 lbs and is engineered to provide up to 200% greater strength compared to conventional cast flywheels.
The flywheel is forged from chrome-molybdenum steel, offering superior durability, heat resistance, and structural integrity. By reducing excess mass—especially around the outer circumference—rotational inertia is significantly lowered, allowing engine power to transfer more efficiently and improving throttle response.
Each XTD flywheel is designed with an optimal weight and shape specific to each vehicle application. Precision CNC machining removes material evenly around the perimeter to minimize weight variation and balance deviation. Additional surface treatment and heat-processing enhance wear resistance and long-term reliability.
Because a flywheel naturally resists changes in speed due to inertia, heavier flywheels slow engine response— especially during acceleration from idle. The XTD lightweight flywheel reduces this inertia, allowing the engine to rev more freely and respond faster to throttle input.
