This is a fine quality matching pair of carved oak church chairs, full of character and traditional craftsmanship. Each chair features beautifully carved detailing to the arms and back panels, with sturdy folding frames that reflect their practical ecclesiastical origins. The rich oak tone and visible grain add warmth and authenticity, making them equally suited to use as occasional seating, hallway chairs, or decorative statement pieces.
One of the chairs retains its original presentation plaque, dated 1902, adding historical interest and provenance to the pair. Both chairs are in very good condition overall, showing only minor wear consistent with age and use. The construction is solid and well made, and the chairs feel robust and reassuring in use.
The removable wooden pegs allow the chairs to be easily dismantled, making storage and transport straightforward while preserving their original design and functionality. A genuinely attractive and collectible pair, offering both practicality and period charm.

We can deliver to most places of mainland UK for £82
This does exclude the Highlands, Far Northern Scotland, Cornwall and Wales however we can in most cases deliver to these places for an additional fee or if you are within 70 miles a smaller fee with apply.

Our quotes are based on flexible availability of a one man courier service to your door. The courier will require assistance for larger items.
Congestion zone charges would need to be added if this applies to your area.
We can arrange a 2 man delivery team, this may incur an additional charge.
Any additional requirements will be at the couriers discretion. It is not down to the courier to take items upstairs and or assemble furniture.
We aim to have your item/s with you in 7-10 working days however please allow up to 3 weeks following cleared payment for your delivery
Collection is absolutely fine just contact us to make arrangements.
Using your own courier - Again this is fine but we will require a minimum of 48 hours from the collection driver. Please note postage courier will not be used for furniture items.
STORAGE
Should you want to purchase an item and are not quite ready for delivery we can safely store your item within our warehouse.
3 weeks with prior notice to purchase will be free of charge, following this a storage charge will apply.
