This new, Toyota, OEM lower control arm with aftermarket salt and water based corrosion resistant treatment. It installs into the lower, left (driver) side of a Toyota 4Runner or FJ Cruiser From 2010 to most models 2024 models.
It is up to the buyer to use the 48069-60040 part number for this Toyota control arm to verify fitment on the buyers vehicle.
You will notice this control arm is a darker black color than standard OEM Toyota control arms. This is because, The intended installation was for a customer wanting it to have substantive corrosion protection because it was intended to be installed in an area of the country suffering road-salt based severe corrosion, but it was not installed and no installation was attempted, because the owner-identified problem turned out to be the UPPER control arm not the lower control arm as initially suspected when this OEM Toyota control arm was ordered.

After it was received it had any shipment and storage related nicks and scratches filled with suspension type paint, then treated with a specific corrosion-resisting treatment, safe on rubber and plastics, but highly resistant to salt (chlorides) and/or water initiated corrosion, has a capillary-level penetration capability, and was applied inside the control arms cavities, on the entire exterior with emphasis on areas of the control-arm where liquefied road-salt and/or normal rainwater might pool then initiate corrosion through-holes, and inside the bolt-hole channels.
