Handgefertigter Holz-Fagottbogen für Heckel-System (deutsches Fagott), entworfen und gefertigt von Paraschos in Athen, Griechenland.
Gefertigt aus sorgfältig ausgewähltem Palisander (Bubinga), auch bekannt als African Rosewood, geschätzt für seine hohe Dichte, Stabilität und klanglichen Eigenschaften.
Die Innengeometrie wird CNC-unterstützt präzise in zwei Teilen gefertigt, anschließend sorgfältig verleimt und von Hand fertiggestellt. Jeder Bogen wird einzeln montiert, bearbeitet und klanglich geprüft.
Der Klang ist warm, dunkel und voll, mit sehr guter Ansprache in allen Registern. Der leichte Blaswiderstand ermöglicht ein schnelles, klares Staccato sowie eine sehr stabile Intonation.
Beide Enden sind mit handangepassten Messinghülsen versehen:

Internal care:
The internal surface is sealed with a special protective coating that protects the wood from moisture. The bocal can be cleaned internally using the same cleaning cloth used for standard metal bassoon bocals.
No oil treatment required:
Do NOT apply oil or wood treatment products. Oiling is neither necessary nor recommended.
External care:
Wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth after use.

Handcrafted wooden bassoon bocal for Heckel system (German bassoon), designed and crafted by Paraschos in Athens, Greece.
This bocal is made from carefully selected Palisander (Bubinga), commonly classified as African Rosewood, a tonewood valued for its density, stability and rich acoustic response.
The internal geometry is produced using CNC-assisted precision machining in two parts, which are then carefully bonded to form the tube. Each bocal is individually hand-finished, assembled and acoustically checked, ensuring consistency while preserving the character of handcrafted wood.
The sound character is warm, dark and broad, with excellent balance across all registers. The easy blowing resistance allows fast and clean staccato articulation and provides remarkable tuning stability.
Both ends are fitted by hand with solid brass components:
- instrument receiver side
- reed (bocal) side
ensuring precise fit, durability and professional performance.
