PING G440 MAX Fairway Wood

The G440 MAX Fairway Wood further evolves the Carbon Fly Wrap Technology introduced in the previous G430 series. By expanding the carbon material area from the crown to the sole, additional weight savings have been achieved. As with the driver in the same series, a lightweight Free Hosel Design is adopted, reducing internal hosel weight. The weight saved through these designs is redistributed as high-density weighting in optimal positions, resulting in a center of gravity engineered for high launch and low spin to maximize distance.

The Face Wrap Technology utilizes high-strength maraging steel across a wide area extending from the face to the sole and crown, maximizing face flex for exceptionally high ball speeds. In addition, Spin Consistency Technology stabilizes spin rates on shots struck high or low on the face, minimizing distance loss on mis-hits and delivering stable ball flight. Compared to the G430 series, the slightly deeper head shape provides greater confidence at address, especially when used from the tee.
