1950 Spanish cinema star card issued as a premium gift inside Chocolate YAGO bars as part of the Cinestrella Cinema Stars collection. These cards were produced on glossy, photo-like paper rather than standard cardboard, giving them a presentation closer to photographic prints than to traditional trading cards.

• ROOKIE card representing an early printed image release of a cinema star

• Issued in 1950 as part of the Cinestrella Cinema Stars series

• Distributed exclusively as a gift inside Chocolate YAGO chocolate bars

• Produced by a small, local Spanish chocolate brand with very limited reach

• Black and white imagery with fine detail and strong photographic quality

• Glossy photo-style paper rather than typical album card stock Card dimensions are approximately 13 × 9 cm (about 5.1 × 3.5 inches)

• Extremely low print context, with only a small number of surviving examples known

This series was released in post-war Spain, when cinema imagery was often distributed through non-traditional channels such as food premiums rather than formal publishing houses. Chocolate YAGO, a local confectionery brand, used these cards to promote its products, resulting in a distribution model that was highly localized and short-lived. Unlike later album-based issues, these cards were not designed to be collected in binders, which contributes to their distinct format and rarity today.

The Cinestrella Cinema Stars cards are notable for their black and white photographic quality, capturing actors and actresses in poses and portraits that are rarely seen in other contemporary card or paper issues. Their larger size and glossy finish place them closer to miniature photographic stills than to mass-produced trading cards, making them appealing to collectors of cinema ephemera as well as vintage photography.

This example is offered raw and ungraded. It remains loose and has not been glued into any album, preserving its original surface and finish. Card dimensions are approximately 13 × 9 cm (about 5.1 × 3.5 inches). As with all vintage glossy paper items from this era, minor handling marks or age-related wear may be present. Please refer to the images provided to evaluate condition.

This is a scarce Spanish cinema premium from an early period of film memorabilia collecting. Offered as-is for collectors interested in vintage cinema stars, European film ephemera, or unconventional promotional card formats from the mid-20th century.
