Authentic antique Alpine cow bell dating to the late 19th / early 20th century.

This large hand-cast brass bell features its original leather strap with hand stitching, traditional red, green, and yellow wool trim, and embossed brass decorative plaques. Motifs include a shepherd with dog and a pastoral farmhouse scene, both classic Swiss Alpine designs.

The bell is heavy, solid, and retains its original forged iron clapper. Surface shows age-appropriate wear, patina, and oxidation consistent with genuine use. Leather is intact but aged.
