Art Deco caricature art.

The illustrator of the "Round-the-World" SS "Resoluta" advertisement shown is likely Holling Holling, who created much of the interior art for such cruise booklets around that time. While a Richard Allen Fish signed the cover art on some similar booklets, the interior art (which resembles the style in your image) often predated his work and is attributed to Holling.

This image is a vintage advertisement for "Round-the-World" cruises offered on the S.S. "Resoluta", a ship owned by the United American Lines (and later the Hamburg-American Line). These advertisements were often featured in magazines like National Geographic around the mid-1920s, specifically the year 1925.

The illustration uses a globe motif and caricatures of people in a rickshaw and with an elephant to evoke the exotic destinations visited during the extensive world tour. The S.S. Resolute (or Resoluta) was an ocean liner with a complex history, operating under five different flags and multiple owners throughout its life, but it became famous for these pioneering world cruises.
