Information about Beyblade

The game Beyblade ranges across four series: in Japan, they?re known as Beyblade Bakuten Shoot, Beyblade Metal Saga (Metal Fight, Explosion, 4D, Zero-G), Beyblade Burst, and Beyblade X. 

In North America and Europe, they?re usually known as: Beyblade (V-Force, G-Revolution), Beyblade Metal Fusion (Metal Masters, Metal Fury, Shogun Steel), Beyblade Burst (Beyblade Burst Turbo, Beyblade Burst Pro Series, Beyblade Burst Quad Strike), Beyblade X. 

Please note: there are four true Beyblade brands on the market: Hasbro (American), Takara Tomy (Japanese), Sono Kong (South Korean), New Boy (Indian)

Each Beyblade Series is composed of its own unique design and the interchangeability of its intended parts, and launchers to spin the Beyblade. So you will be unable to create Beyblade combos from different Beyblade generations. However, the most common factor each top has is that you can battle any Beyblade ever released and relive moments from the anime TV show. 

General outline of how to play with Beyblade:

1. The Setup

• The Arena: Battles must take place in an official Beystadium (a bowl-shaped plastic arena). The stadium should be placed on a flat, stable surface like the floor (not a table, for safety).
• The Gear: Each player uses one Beyblade (the spinning top) and a launcher with a ripcord or string.
• Assembly: Attach your Beyblade to your launcher by aligning the grooves and twisting it until it locks in place. Insert the ripcord into the launcher.

2. The Launch

1. Players face each other across the stadium, holding their launchers over the arena.
2. One player or a referee calls out: "3, 2, 1... Let it Rip!" or "3, 2, 1... Go Shoot!"
3. Both players must simultaneously pull their ripcords or strings swiftly and forcefully to launch their Beyblades into the stadium.

3. The Battle

Once both Beyblades are spinning in the Beystadium, the battle is in progress. Players must not touch the stadium or their Beyblades until the battle is over.

The goal is to defeat your opponent by having your top be the last one spinning.

A typical Beyblade set consists of 3-5 parts:

1st Gen (Beyblade Bakuten, V-Force, G-Revolution)

• Bit Chip
• Attack Ring (AR)
• Weight Disk (WD)
• Blade Base/Spin Gear (Sometimes parts may be combined such as Engine Gear, EG for short)

2nd Gen

• Facebolt
• Energy Ring/Clear Wheel
• Metal Wheel/Fusion Wheel
• Spin Track
• Tip/Performance Tip

3rd Gen

• Layer/Energy Layer
• Disc/Forge Disc (Sometimes they're accompanied by a Disc Layer)
• Driver/Performance Driver

4th Gen

• Blade
• Ratchet
• Bit
