For your consideration is a beautiful antique entry mortise door lock set branded National Hardware but probably manufactured by Welch in the early 1900's.  The mortise is # 5000 and it comes with a gothic style white metal pull handle, brass knob & rose, thumb turn, strike plate and lock cylinder with 3 keys.  The lock face plate, latch, bolt, strike plate and many of the internal parts are made of brass.  The lock body is cast iron.  The mortise lock is in excellent functional condition - it has been refurbished - all parts disassembled, cleaned and properly reassembled.  The lock is reversible - it will work with a right or left hand swing door.  Dimensions of the face plate: 7-5/8 x 1-1/16", distance between the lock face and center-of-hub (set back): 2-1/2", distance between center-of-hub and center-of-thumb turn: 1-1/4", center-of-hub and center-of-cylinder: 3-3/4".  Comes with mounting screws and latch plate.  Please look at the pictures carefully as they are considered part of the description.  Make sure to ask questions before you bid.  Thanks for looking.
