Emmons Double Heart Gold Tone Vintage 1960s Brooch Pin NO STONES 

This vintage double heart pin made by Emmons is preowned and is in acceptable condition for the right person. This brooch was originally ordered and customized for Mother's Day with birthstones to fill in the spaces on the smaller heart. This brooch does not have any stones and most likely removed, fell out or was possibly ordered without the stones. The brooch has a shiny but worn gold tone in some areas and the pin has some light texture in the metal design. This pin measures approximately 1 & 7/16" long x 1 & 1/8" wide. It locks with a modern rolling C clasp and the clasp, lock, pin and hinge are in working order and are still pretty tight. The back of the brooch is hallmarked Emmons. Conditional issues are metal wear, loss of some gold tone metal plating, light surface scratching and general signs of age. In addition, we are not sure if the birthstones were removed or lost. There is some light wear in some of the locations where the stones should have been placed. This is a lovely vintage brooch pin from the 1960s that is in acceptable condition to be worn and the brooch could also be redesigned, reimaging or repurposed. The brooch was made for a Mother's Day jewelry piece but is seasonal and can represent Valentine's Day too.
