This is a Rare Antique 19th Century SETH THOMAS "Empire No. 10" Large Ornate Fancy Brass, Gilt Cast Metal, and Glass Crystal Regulator Mantel Shelf Clock, made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company Thomaston Conn. USA, Circa 1900. It has a Fancy Ornate Victorian Nouveau Footed Gilt Cast Metal and Brass and Beveled Glass Case with Great Patina. This Has a Porcelain Dial with Arabic Style Numerals, Signed "Seth Thomas", in Good Condition! This Clock has a Seth Thomas Round Brass Mechanical 8 Day "Time and Strike" Key Wound Movement, with Cathedral Coil Spring Gong Chime, Signed "ST USA". There are 2 Winding Arbors, and It includes a Winding Key and Correct Large Glass Vial Regulator Pendulum. The Clock is Large and measures approx. 14" Tall x 8 1/4" Wide x 6 1/4" Deep. This Clock Strikes Correctly but Will Only Run Briefly and Will Need Lube, Cleaning or Service, Sold As Found. It Has Not Been Serviced, and is Being Sold for Parts, Restoration or Repair with Great Potential! This will make a Stunning addition to your Home.
