The all new MX2A is an updated redesigned version of the original Cherry MX to provide smooth keystrokes with minimal spring noise. 
 

Cherry MX2A Black RGB mechanical switches are 60g linear switches for mechanical keyboards graded for at least 100 million keystrokes.  The main differences between the Blacks and the Cherry Red switches is that the Cherry Black switches offer a heavier spring, making the typing experience more satisfying even for longer PC gaming sessions or late night work.
