Unique Mixed Style Deco Gothic Brutalist Silver Tone Enamel Metal Drop Earrings

These interesting pair of vintage pierced earrings are preowned and are in good condition for the right person. These earrings feature a plentitude of styles from art deco to brutalist from gothic to modernist. These earrings feature a silver tone in two hues - a gray silver as the "stone" and a more traditional silver metal color on the bottom drop/dangle portion. The top portion perhaps replicates a faux pearl in a gray color which we believe is enamel over metal. The bottom and top portion are hinged together so it is a door knocker style earring and the bottom portion can move forward and backward. The bottom portion looks kind of like a dagger or sword and is textured with a geometric pattern. The earrings measure approximately 2 & 3/8" long x 5/8" wide (the bottom portion). The earrings are a pierced style and come with the original (clean) metal butterfly pushbacks. The hinge is working appropriately. The earrings are not hallmarked. They are lightweight earrings that will not bring down the earlobe. Conditional issues are light surface scratches to the enamel at the top portions of the earrings, light surface scratches to the metal and general signs of use and wear. These earrings are vintage from the 1980s and are most likely belong with someone who loves and appreciates older jewelry for the character, history and mystery of the item. Please note that this item ships in a box to avoid potential shipping carrier damages. We don't ship our jewelry in bags. We invite you to review our photos for the best views of the item and to see any of the conditional issues mentioned above.
