Ichnofossil Sea Scorpion Trilobite And Shrimp Tracks With Prey Strike Impression
8 Pieces.
Comes in a 8 x 12 inch felt lined Riker type display case.
The top left is an example of a Sea Scorpion hitting the mud hard in an attempt to catch food, as seen from below.
The pattern is that of it's tentacles that surround it's mouth.
Several examples have "Sets" of tracks as it sat waiting for a potential victim to pass by.
Second from top right are Sea Scorpion tracks over a Shrimp trackway which goes from nicely detailed to nothing as it was most likely taken away at that point.
A couple examples have Trilobite tracks along side the Sea Scorpion tracks and the bottom right specimen has a tangle of very small worm tracks and at the center the worm was most likely an interaction that did not end well for the worm. Sea Scorpions were ruthless predators.

Fossils found near the Ohio River in Southern Indiana.
Found in natural state, we only washed the dirt off of them.
We think was from the Mississippian in age, from the Tar Springs Formation, over 300 million years old.
