When developing the SCX30 RC crawler platform, the Axial team had two main goals in mind - to make it small and to make it high-performance. Consider both missions accomplished. At 1/30 scale, the Axial SCX30 Ford Bronco RTR is perfectly sized for crawling across your desktop or on outdoor dirt and rock trails. It also delivers oversized performance for a very affordable price, with features and capabilities you’d never expect from a sub-micro crawler.
For example, the SCX30 Ford Bronco includes an angled skid plate to let you slide easily over challenging obstacles. That’s a feature usually found only in competition crawlers. Ramped axle housings and high clearance links also help to avoid dragging and hangups. Performance on the rocks gets another boost from the climbing stability of the chassis’ forward weight bias. And there’s much more, from damped shocks, full ball bearings, and a powerful Axial 88T motor to dependable Spektrum electronics that are mounted low in the chassis for the best center of gravity.
Topping off that trail-ready engineering is a Ford Bronco ABS hard body that proves detailed scale realism can come in any size. An authentic recreation of the full-size truck, the body is complemented by front and rear LEDs and officially licensed Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires on ICON Nuevo wheels. The soft compound tires with foam inserts provide all the traction needed for outdoor action on rocks and dirt or for crawling across a desktop, table, or cluttered floor. You can turn any space into your personal Rubicon trail!
If you’re among the thousands of Axial SCX24 crawling fans, the SCX30 Ford Bronco RTR will no doubt be an essential addition to your collection. It offers all Axial enthusiasts an exciting and affordable new way to adventure. For newcomers to RC rock crawling, the simplicity and value of the complete, ready-to-run package makes the Bronco an ideal way to get started.

The Axial SCX30 Ford Bronco RTR has a high-performance chassis with an angled skid plate to help you slide over challenging obstacles - a feature usually found only in comp crawlers. Ramped axle housings and high clearance links also help to avoid dragging and hangups, while the forward weight bias improves climbing stability.

The transmission of the SCX30 platform is easily accessible for maintenance and tuning. Optional gears available for the SCX24 are compatible for using different ratios.

Though small, the SCX30 Ford Bronco RTR doesn't come up short on scale realism. The injection molded ABS hard body is loaded with details for authentic scale looks. Front and rear LEDs are included, as are molded parts for body customizing.

The clipless body mounting system allows fast, easy access to the chassis for battery replacement and general maintenance.

Officially licensed Axial Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires and ICON Nuevo wheels ensure that the SCX30 Ford Bronco RTR has all the traction it needs, whether it's crawling across a desktop or outdoors over rock and dirt trails. The soft compound tires also include factory-installed foam inserts.

The SCX30 Ford Bronco may be small, but its high-quality features deliver big-league performance and value. Rather than cutting costs with bushings, for example, the drivetrain spins freely on sealed ball bearings throughout the entire rig.

The included Spektrum SLT2 transmitter is designed to help all drivers succeed on the trails. Its throttle limiting feature can limit the rig's maximum available speed to 50% or 75% until you're ready for it all. Four AA batteries are included.

The factory-installed on-board electronics are mounted low in the chassis to improve the center of gravity. The ready-to-run package comes complete with a powerful Spektrum 2S LiPo battery and 0.5A USB-C charger for fast, easy, and safe battery recharging.
