The late 80s into 1990 was a tough time for the band, and Deadheads. Brent had passed, Jerry gave us a scare, but by October Vince had joined the band, Jerry was back on his feet, and old friend Bruce Hornsby was on hand to give them a boost. It was a special tour that brought them to Paris in October.
Set one opened with "Touch of Grey", "Box of Rain" made an appearance, a few classics, "Althea" and closed with Bruce's "Stander on the Mountain". Set 2 got right into it, "Victim or the Crime" leading into "Eyes", "Estimated Prophet", "Uncle John's Band", "The Other One" and so on. A night to remember.
Thrown in for good measure are seven tracks from 2 days later in Wembley Arena, London, including Bruce's hit "Valley Road" as well as "Picasso Moon", "Foolish Heart" and "Terrapin Station".
