We try to adhere to the following grading system for records:
Goldmine Grading System
Mint (M): The record is in perfect, unplayed condition, often still sealed.
Near Mint (NM): The record shows minimal signs of wear, both visually and audibly. It should play without significant surface noise, and the jacket and inner sleeve will also show very little wear.
Excellent (E): Similar to Near Mint, but may have very slight marks from being handled or removed from the inner sleeve.
Very Good Plus (VG+): A step down from Excellent, the record is still very playable but may have minor surface noise or light scratches that don't significantly overpower the music.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable wear and surface noise are present, but the record is still generally enjoyable to listen to.
Good (G): Significant wear and noise are evident, and the record may have skips or other playback issues.
Poor (P) or Fair (F): These records are heavily damaged and likely unplayable, with major sound issues.
