Lifeform is a parody of the movie alien. It is an all vs. one game where one player is the lifeform, a malicious predatory monster, and the rest are crew. As the crew you are trying to escape the space vessel by collecting resources around the map. As the lifeform you're trying to eliminate all of the crew.
