This 1968 Postal Society Commemorative Set commemorates the 36th anniversary of the 24 December Apollo 8 Mission.  The stamp panel was postmarked & canceled on 24 December 2004. 

I once thought to submit the semi-scarce Kennedy Half Dollar (40% Silver), along with the San Francisco Mint 

Lincoln cent for grading.  Time passed and the modern certified coin market sorta went south. 

This set seems to have weak bands, weak steps (if any), but...but, no toning or spotting. 

No glaring bag/handling marks visible with X5.  The packaging somewhat limits close viewing, making it 

a wee bit difficult to see much of their details....
