This OEM Mercury XXL driveshaft kit is designed for outboards requiring a 30-inch extra-long shaft (XXL) configuration. It provides the correct factory-engineered driveshaft for applications where additional shaft length is needed to match deeper transom heights or commercial hull designs. The kit supports a complete extension installation, ensuring proper spline engagement, gear alignment and smooth torque transfer into the gearcase.

The XXL option is compatible with V6 (3.4L) and V8 (4.6L) FourStroke outboards, including SeaPro models. However, it is not compatible with standard 300HP CMS engines—it can only be installed on the 300HP SeaPro when used in an XXL configuration.

Built from hardened marine-grade steel, this driveshaft is designed to withstand high load, high RPM and the harsh conditions typical of commercial, patrol and heavy-use marine environments.
