This box is larger than a glove or handkerchief box so not sure what it may have been used for. It's covered with appears to the dogwood flowers. The overall box is very dark (due to age?) and it's hard to see the design as a result.
This measures 8" x 8" x 4 1/8". I would call this 'fair' vintage condition (but no better!). The color is dark throughout which obscures some of the design. The front clasp is broken / latch is missing and the hinges are a bit loose. There are a few chips in the wood. Please examine the photos.
