This part fits TH350 family transmissions used across most GM rear-drive passenger cars, light trucks and vans. Common application groups and model-year ranges (use as a guide — verify by transmission ID/casting if possible):

• Chevrolet (many RWD models) — Camaro, Chevelle/El Camino, Nova, Impala, Caprice, Monte Carlo, Corvette, Camaro, full-size passenger cars and many C/K pickups and Blazers (TH350 used broadly 1969→early-1980s; TH350C lock-up versions appear 1981→1986 on trucks/vans). 

• Buick / Oldsmobile / Pontiac (BOP cars) — Full-size BOP models and many intermediate models that used TH350 from its introduction (late-1960s) through the 1970s/early-80s.

• GMC / Chevy trucks & vans — Light-duty C/K trucks, vans and some full-size models used TH350/TH350C through the early- to mid-1980s.

TH350 and TH350C variations exist (narrow vs wide direct drum, lock-up vs non-lock-up, different sprag/inner race options). Confirm the transmission family (TH350 vs TH350C), spline count, drum width and whether your application uses the drum with or without sprag before final fitment confirmation. Jobber catalogs list 8640307 as the direct drum without sprag and 8640308 as the drum often supplied with sprag assembly.
