We recommend ALWAYS inserting the magazine on an open bolt.

Since the Nylon 77 cycles extremely fast, lower powered ammo with a certain projectile shape works best.

The normal issue with incorrect ammo is an empty chamber, failure to pick up a cartridge.

We found that Remington Yellow Jacket bulk packs seem to work about the best. They fairly common. 

Another option is Federal 525 round bulk packs. Or Remington golden bullets.
