Set in the coastal metropolis of Sumaru City, this game takes place three years after the events of Revelations: Persona. While it shares a few characters and background elements from the previous title, it introduces an all-new cast and storyline, making it enjoyable even for newcomers.
The difficulty level has been significantly lowered compared to the first game, making it more accessible to a wider audience. The in-game visuals have seen major improvements, with beautifully enhanced movie scenes and added voice acting not only during battles but also in key story events.
Unlike its predecessor’s multiple branching endings, this title follows a single, linear storyline with a fixed party of characters. It features a much larger volume of dialogue and many small event scenes, offering a richer, more story-driven gameplay experience.
