THIS IS A STUNNING ANTIQUE WW1 1916-18 GENTS EUROPEAN MILITARY ROLEX TRENCH WATCH IN SOLID SILVER.
DESCRIPTION.
This is a beautiful WW1 Military Trench Officers Rolex wristwatch in silver.
This model of Rolex would have been sold to European military personnel during World War One. Usually this type of Rolex watch sold to the British military personal but this one due to the Swiss silver hallmark and no British import marks I would think this watch was sold to either French or Swiss military personal.
The condition of this Rolex for being 100 years old is good with normal age related wear to the case.
The stunning original Enamel dial still retains the jewellers name who would have sold it new. It has the military type dial and hands and oozes that ww1 charm.
The wonderful Rolex movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker in the past 3 months.

CASE.
The solid silver case is in good condition for its age with age related marks to the beael. The full size gents case measures 34mm across without the winding crown.
Inside the case back all the marks are correct as expected:
Rolex
and fully hallmarked with Swiss with the grouge for 0.800 silver.
DIAL.
The original enamel dial still retains the Jewellers name to the dial who would have sold it new. This model looks simply stunning.

MOVEMENT.
The high grade movement is in very good condition and has been fully serviced. The movement is signed: Rolex.
