Vintage Coach Bon Bus Satchel – Style 9426 – Legacy Collection – Made in USA – March 1992
This is a rare, authentic vintage Coach Bon Bus Satchel from the Legacy Collection, produced in March 1992. The bag is in new, unused condition and still has its original factory store price tag of $309 attached. Crafted in the USA from rich glove-tanned leather, this satchel showcases Coach’s signature craftsmanship and timeless design.

- Computer and items in picture do not come with the bag. I used those to give visual only. That computer is 14" as I have a 10 key pad on mine and it fits nicely in this bag.
Condition:
This bag is in new vintage condition. I was able to locate a small scuff on the bottom (please see pictures), otherwise, leather is pristine, hardware shines, and stitching is intact. A true collector’s piece.

Coach Factory Stores:
In the early 1990's Coach started with their Coach Factory Stores (what we now refer to as outlets). Initially they used them for overstock and previous season merchandise at a discounted rate. They did not sell seconds or defective products at the Factory Stores. With the original tag showing a price of $309.00 at the Factory Store, it is estimated based on the discount percentage given at that time that it sold by Coach originally between $375-$395 (they do not keep records for this). For 1992, that would put this particular bag at the extreme high end of the bags they produced and sold.

I own this same bag in a different color and love it!! The quality is amazing and I usually condition all of my leather bags when I first receive them. This one I did not, there was no need to do so which tells me this bag was in a controlled environment for the last 33 years. The leather looks as good as I'm sure it did 33 years ago. I think it's likely it sat in the top of someone's closet. Just wanted to give those collectors out there an opportunity for a vintage bag with tags still attached for their collections. I used multiple lighting methods for the pictures to try and give the best visuals. I do not gouge people on shipping, but I need to point out that the higher shipping rate on this item is because I add insurance on any item over $100 and the added insurance on this item will probably be over $10.00 on top of usual shipping fees. I do this to protect the purchaser as lost or damaged item claims are filed by the purchaser, not the seller so I take these extra precautions for the buyer. I know we all hate shipping fees and I am charging flat rate which means I will probably pay out of pocket for part of it.
