The product is a cleaned Byzantine Empire AE Follis coin from the reign of Justinian I "The Great" (c.527-538 AD). This bronze coin was minted in Constantinople and features a large M on the reverse with a cross above and to the right, along with a star to the left. It is ineligible for NGC certification and has been classified as a variety with a suspected "altered surface". The coin has a provenance from Türkiye and is a valuable piece of ancient history from the Byzantine era.
