Estate sale find.
Beautiful 4” silver plate mechanical pencil.
Originally had a loop on top to hang on a chain. (See photo). The holes are there, wouldn’t be difficult to replace.
Takes 1.8mm lead. Needs a new eraser.
From the early 20th century.
Twist action. Sounds like there may be some extra leads inside but I didn’t want to brake it. Top does unscrew.
There is a very handy Youtube on the internet that shows how to replace lead and eraser .
Has a pretty art deco chevron design in the silver.
Around the crown it states “Wahl Eversharp. Silver plated. Made in U. S. A.”
