USA shipping: shipping to the USA is suspended for the foreseeable future due to unclear tariff handling. Postal services all over Europe including Germany do no longer accept business parcels to the US. Shipping express via UPS etc. is the only way to ship at a significantly higher cost hence we suspend shipping to the US for now. Any new orders need to be canceled, since we simply cannot ship. These tubes come either with silver or grey shields and are otherwise identical. We reserve the right to deliver either version. You may of course send us your preference.
This is the early 1950ies version with big horseshoe getter and red print. We do have very limited supply of these...
These tubes came in bulk from Swiss army surplus. All tubes are tested and burned-in/pre-aged (hence the colors on the tubes). The burn-in was done to secure stabilized operation in highly sensitive measuring instruments.
Some tubes may carry values written on them by the army personal or may have faded prints. This does of course not affect the proper operation.
You will receive a tightly matched, noise and distortion free pair! Guaranteed!
Matching is done on a milspec Neuberger RPM375, still one of the best tube testers out there... EF 91 and EF92 tubes can be noisy at times in the Little Dots amps. While some noise during heat up is normal with these tubes it should disappear after 60 seconds latest. To guarantee that you will receive a pair that is noise free after warm-up, we will listen to each pair ourselfs on our LD MK2 with super neutral and noise free Neumann studio headphones. We do have plenty of different versions of the EF91 and EF92, please drop us a line, if you would prefer another brand or just check our other offers. All are from the same provenance and most are burned in. We also do have many other kinds of 7-pin tubes, which you may want to try. We will be happy to check our stock for you! Using EF91/EF92 instead of EF95: You may use this kind of tubes in your Little Dot headphone amp after changing the settings on your amp. This is a less than 5 minutes job and can be done by really everyone. No expert know-how necessary! Please consult your user manual how to do this prior to using these tubes in your particular amp! Return policy
Our products are mostly New Old Stock (NOS) unless otherwise stated in the description. Even though we test each and any item before shipping it always may happen that these fail in your equipment or that you simply do not like what you bought. Therefore, we take back any item you buy within 30 days should you want to return it. No questions asked, full refund, no fuss.
Refund on safely returned items only, without exception!!
Testing
All tubes or other electronic items we are selling are tested prior to shipping unless otherwise stated in the item description (e. g. tubes in sealed boxes or offers which are clearly marked as untested). The tube testing is done either on a Neuberger RPM 375, a Funke W19S or a TV7-U. All these testers are from military provenance and are in excellent working order. You may ask for test results and pictures of the testing prior to purchasing any of our items if this information is not already present in the item description. The results on either of these testers is the only relevant in case of complaints.
Resistors & capacitors are tested on a Genrad 1657 LCR bridge.
Unless anything else is stated in the item description, we are not testing for hum/noise nor can we guarantee that any of the items we are selling are working hum and/or noise free in your application or “sound” good to your ears. Hum/noise caused by microphonics or other effects or disappointing sound are hence not regarded as defect to the items. In any of these cases the return policy laid out above will be applied.
Feedback policy
We will leave positive feedback as soon as we have received positive feedback from our customers. We are very sorry for this rule, but increased feedback scam in recent months no longer allows for earlier positive feedback.
Shipping
We usually ship within 3 days after payment but always try to be faster.
We will ship to absolutely any corner of this planet and we try to ship to the lowest fares possible.
Please be aware, that remote destinations (seen from Western Europe) may take some extended time for delivery. Also, slow customs and/or postal service at the final destination may slow down delivery extensively. However, most parcels should arrive with 10 to 15 days after being dispatched.
Shipping will be as registered airmail parcel from Deutsche Post or German DHL parcel service. We will provide a tracking code which allows tracking with most local postal providers like USPS etc. as long as your home country participates in the international postal tracking system.
If your home country does not participate in the international postal tracking system, tracking will end most likely at the German border.
If your country participates in the international postal tracking, you will be able to track this parcel with the tools provided online by your local postal service (e.g. USPS Track & Confirm or Hongkong Post Mail Tracking) as soon as the parcels has cleared at customs.
To avoid unnecessary shipping, please ask before ordering if you are not entirely sure what you are ordering or whether this item will meet your needs. We will be more than happy to try to clarify with you whether any of our products will work in your equipment or not.
Please be aware that there might be additional import taxes in your home country if you live outside of the EU.
