This graphic "comic" book is by Monroe Publications and is 7 inches wide by 10 inches tall. It's fully illustrated with original art work by legendary World War II, Civil War, and Napoleonic Wars artist Keith Rocco, who lives and paints in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

The magazine is titled, "Illustrated History Series, Bloody Omaha, D-Day, June 6, 1944". What makes this magazine so great, other than the fantastic artwork and story-telling, is it's actually autographed, in gold, by the author / painter Rocco on the front cover.

This illustrated book was released back in 2022. Some people call these "graphic novels," but I grew up calling them "realistic" comic books. Regardless, if you're a fan of the tragic story of Co A, the Bedford Boys, 29th Infantry Division on Omaha Beach, or the 1st Infantry Division, Big Red One, on the same beach, then this illustrated book is for you. It's a wonderful gift for a kid around 8-17 years old and could be the basis of a student presentation in school.

I live in Bedford, home of Company A, 116th Infantry Division, 29th Inf Div.- "The Bedford Boys". We have the National D-Day Memorial here in my hometown; well worth a visit. Please come visit the Memorial.
