Obverse
It shows an underprint with an aerial view of the islands and reefs in Maldives designs, a jet airplane taking off from the Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (MLE), cowry shells (Cyprea moneta), and a fisherman carrying a skipjack tuna and a yellowfin tuna.
Reverse
It is vertically oriented and depicts a traditional sailboat (Dhoni). The banknote has the theme “our industrial and economic progress.”
