Three Full Length Battens
Full length battens have been the standard mainsail configuration at Somerset Sails for 37 years. The battens not only assist in the sail handling, raising and lowering but also in shaping for optimum performance and longevity. The short battens create a fulcrum point that wears into the sail especially when the sail is flogging. The full battens are especially nice in conjunction with Stack Packs and lazy jacks
