The Tiffin Black Amethyst Satin Glass Vase with Painted Poppies & Leaves is a vintage piece from the early 20th century, specifically between 1930-1939. This North American-made vase features a striking Art Deco style with a matte satin finish and beautifully painted poppies and leaves on its black glass surface. Measuring 6" in diameter and 5.5" in height, this original piece adds a touch of elegance and charm to any decor with its unique design and production technique of studio craftsmanship. While the glass appears black, it is actually very dark purple. The glass has no chips nor cracks.  There is some wear to the paint of the high points of the embossed poppies and leaves as shown in the photographs.
