Collector's Notes:  This piece is centerpiece worthy.  When you want to impress a guest with a rock that says "I am a meteorite" this one will do it. There are areas of wind abrasion which exposed the matrix so you can examine shock veins, exposed iron flecks, and heat altered chondrules.  The star of the show however is the well preserved crust on over half of the piece.  The ground protected crust does a great job protecting the detail of the entry features.  In many areas the leathery varnished crust has regmaglypts, some contraction cracks, and interior features showing through such as a few chondrules I spotted.  This would also be a reasonable candidate for classification if you so choose.

Class information:  Unclassified meteorites are genuine rocks from space that have been identified as meteorites but have not gone through the full scientific process needed for an official classification (such as "ordinary chondrite",  "carbonaceous chondrite", or "achondrite"). This happens when a specimen is too aesthetic to remove a sample, too small to warrant the investment, intended to be kept affordable, or simply has yet to be submitted to a laboratory for detailed study.
