Item:  A beautifully crafted 10th Anniversary Cast and Crew award to commemorate the Encore Edition theatrical release of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast"

Date:  Released in 2002 to celebrate the international success of Disney's Beauty and the Beast (1991) as the film's "Encore Edition" was released.

Description:  Features the "Enchanted Rose" from Beauty and the Beast... as forever enshrined in Lucite. Here, the rose is pictured within the glass dome that the Beast watched over in hopes that his true love would one day release him from the spell that had been cast over him.

This official "Beauty and the Beast Encore Edition" cast and crew gift was distributed to Walt Disney Animation employees in 2002. The special gift was presented to each person employed at Disney Animation during that time... in commemorating the first animated film ever nominated for the Academy Award "Best Picture."  In this case a song previously cut from the film, "Human Again" was restored and presented in the new IMAX version of the film.  In acknowledging the continuing success of this beloved animated film, the Walt Disney Animation management awarded their animation crew members with this gift.
