This charger DOES work however please note you will have to swap over your top plate since the prongs inside the top shell are worn out and will only work with a lot of pressure pushing down. It sounds ridiculous but I was using it just fine by stacking two small bricks on top so it made full contact but I suggest you just take the 3 minutes to pop the top cover off from your non working one to switch over to this one. Super easy.
