Beautiful set of H&B Bobby Nichols Precision Built Irons from the right handed golfer. These irons were hand forged at the Louisville Factory in the 60’s. Reg. BN40065. Each iron has the Flex Master Steel Shaft with Tan Calfskin grips with gold bead stripes. This outstanding set is in nice shape. Bobby Nichols beat Palmer and Nicklaus to win the 1964 PGA Championship. He was born in Louisville and went to Texas A&M to play collegiate golf. Local boy made good, so H&B started a set of clubs after him, like MacGregor did with Nicklaus. Another claim to fame for Nichols was that he was struck by lightning at the Western Open same as Lee Trevino & Jerry Heard on June 27th, 1975. Bobby Nichols is still with us at 89 years old.
GO RETRO!!!
