The Midland Metal Spinning Co was founded in 1919.

In 1937 they were listed as an exhibitor in the British Industries Fair, Stand no A510. Domestic aluminium Holloware. Towercrome Plate. ‘Beautiful

Inexpensive, untarnishable Plate at prices all can afford.’

Stamped to the base of each item listed:

Made throughout in Wolverhampton.

Always Bright. Saves labour. Untarnishable.

Needs no polishing.

Listing consists of:

1 teapot, 1 coffee pot or hot water jug, milk jug and sugar bowl.

Bakelite handles and knobs to tea and coffee pot. Lid knobs lean a little, but firm.

General surface pitting. Discolouration and pitting to insides. Coffee pot lid does fit quite square. Very dumpy spout to coffee pot.

Milk jug and sugar bowl – general surface pitting, discolouration.

Normal use scuffs and scratches to all pieces.

Clean.

Weight all items combined 600g

Not pristine but a stylish piece of Wolverhampton history and a very displayable set.

Sold for collector, display or prop use.

No sold for actual tea/coffee use.

Descriptions

The strength integrity of many vintage items cannot be guaranteed for example, but not limited to, rope or brackets.

All electrical items are sold for display, refurbishment or spares only. No electrical goods are tested in any way and are NOT sold as safe working items.

All sizes and weights are approximate.

Photos are always of the actual item being sold unless otherwise detailed in the description or are 1 of a number of similar others available. Photographs form part of the description.

We take great care with our descriptions but sometimes errors can occur.

We do not accept cheques, postal orders or currencies other than GB £s. We do not accept any form of payment sent via post/courier.

Shipping

The postage quoted is for UK mainland deliveries is generally by myHermes.

Please contact us before buying if delivery is to The Channel Islands.

Overseas items are only sent by eBay Global Shipping.

We are unable to pack any items collected by any independent man with a van.

Should there be a problem with any purchase please contact us before leaving neutral/negative feedback and we will do our best to redress any issues.

Refunds

We do not accept returns or make refunds on any item of clothing, photographs, movie films, instruction manuals, documents/ephemera, or other similar items.

Where an item is as described but returned, the buyer pays for the return postage.

If you are unhappy with any purchase. Please contact us within two days of receipt. If an item is damaged in transit, please send us photos of the item and the packaging.

For items lost in transit we will require a signed written declaration to the effect.

Unless previously agreed, if an item is paid for but not collected within 2 months, it will be re-sold and no refund given to the original buyer.
