Description:
A finely potted rectangular moon flask (扁壶) with double handles, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and copper red. The main body is painted with a five-clawed dragon (龙纹) amidst scrolling clouds and flames, symbolizing imperial power and auspicious authority.
The shoulder features geometric key-fret borders (回纹), while the foot and rim are encircled with stylized scroll designs. Both sides are richly decorated with powerful dragon imagery in blue and red, a combination highly admired during the Qianlong reign.
The base bears a six-character seal mark “大清乾隆年制” (Made in the Qianlong reign of the Great Qing) in underglaze blue within a square frame.
