YOUR Classic Era Train Headquarters! An interesting factory error! You are looking at a very cool 6-9666 hi-cube boxcar made in 1978 specifically for the Disney Mickey Mouse Express freight car series. It is in its original box. These boxes were custom decorated ONLY for this series. As Lionel did back then, these cars were sold one at a time as separate sale rather than in a complete set, so different cars have different collector values. There were thirteen cars including a caboose and an extra limied edition Mickey Mouse birthday car (see our other listings). Factory mis-stamp This Pinnochio got an extra stamping at the factory, and quality control either missed it or just let it go. There is a think line of black lettering/numbering on one end. It appears to be the same data line that is along the top endge of the ends of the car. Fun to have these oddball cars. Check out the beautiful artwork on the sides, too. CONDITION: C-7 perhaps C-6+. Looks nice but the white does show a little aging and a few rubs from handling. Car has a factory misstamp on one end. BOX has some discoloration and rubs. We do accept returns within 30 days. Unless there was an error on our end, return shipping is paid by the buyer and the price of the item is refunded upon receipt of iback at Lone Star Trains. If we made a mistake, we pay the return shipping. Items must be in the same condition as when we shipped. We cannot accept returns on orders that were shipped new and then opened. If there is a problem, such as an error in description or condition, we accept returns within 30 days.
