Tegaderm Thin Dressing may be used as a protective dressing on at-risk skin. This dressing may be used on intact skin to protect from friction. Tegaderm comes with a film border on oval sizes and seals to prevent premature dressing failure due to edge lift. This dressing protects the wound and periwound skin from contaminants, body fluids, bacteria and viruses. In vitro testing shows that the transparent film provides a viral barrier from viruses while the dressing remains intact without leakage.
