- Gas charged lift supports are pressurized shocks that are used to support hoods, hatches, trunks, rear window glass, and more. These gas-filled, hydraulic rods lose power over time and need to be replaced.
How long do lift supports last?
- The hood lift supports on your car can last for about 50,000 miles or so before they need to be replaced. There are a variety of things that can lead to the demise of your hood lifts, but usually it is a leak in the pneumatic valve.
How to install the lifting bracket??
- The support rod and piston rod must be installed downwards, not upside down, to reduce friction and ensure the best damping quality and cushioning function.
- It is a high-voltage product. It is strictly prohibited to analyze, bake, hit or touch at will, and cannot be used as a handrail.
- Working environment temperature: -35°C-+70°C. (Specific manufacturing 80°C)
- It should not be subjected to oblique force or lateral force when working.
- Determine the installation location of the fulcrum. It must be installed accurately, that is, when it is closed, move it above the center line of the structure, otherwise the door will often be automatically pushed open.
- Spray paint after installation to the desired location.
