This is a beautiful vintage Chinese porcelain ginger jar, decorated with a vibrant multicolor butterfly motif against a glossy black ground. Each butterfly is hand-painted in bright tones of orange, green, blue, and red, with fine detailing.
The jar includes its matching lid and a wood display stand. The underside bears a “Made in China” export label, dating it to the mid-20th century (c.1960s–1980s).
