Nelly Montijn-de Fouw, was an expert in English language and literature who was best known for this work where she compiled and retold Arthurian legends. In this volume her work is accompanied by stunning illustrations by Arthur Rackham in colour and black and white. 

     This copy remains in excellent condition with little wear besides some dulling of the gilt tooling, see condition notes for further details.
