    What are the symptoms of a Bad CV joint?

    * Symptoms of a Bad CV joint: 

    1. Vibration While Driving--It can mean that you have a damaged halfshaft.
    2. Clicking While Turning--If that boot is damaged, it could affect your turning.
    3. Knocking Sound--If you suddenly start to hear a knocking sound while driving, your CV axle is a potential culprit.
    4. Grease Found on the Inside of Your Wheels--If any damage is done to the boot, that lubricating grease can leak out onto your wheels.
    5. A Tear in the Boot--If all signs point north, it's best to walk north. In other words, if you exhibit several signs of a blown CV axle, there's always one sure way to find out: inspect the axle.
